OHLSD administrators meet with Gov. DeWine on reading efforts
OHLSD and Mount St. Joseph University are strong partners on literacy.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has made improving reading skills a cornerstone of his agenda. One of his "literacy stops" across brought him to Mount St Joseph University, where he learned about the work OHLSD and MSJ are doing using the science of reading approach, and the partnership that has been fostered among the two institutions in recent years.
Present at the meeting with the Governor were OHLSD Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Corey Kessler, Associate Director of Student Services Candice Lessing and Delhi Middle School Principal Brian Conners.
