Oakdale and OHHS Collaborate for The Monster Project
Just in time for Halloween, Oakdale and OHHS students create some amazing monsters! The Monster Project was a collaborative project recently completed between Miss Jacob's first grade artists at Oakdale Elementary and Miss Kopf's Digital Art Foundations students at OHHS. The goal of the Monster project was to encourage and foster creative collaboration between elementary and high school students. The Oakdale first graders used their powers of creativity to create the original monsters and the high school students selected a monster to reimagine and render into digital monster creations. The high school students also had an additional creative writing element and wrote notes back to the 1st-graders to tell them about their monster's adventures at the high school.
