Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Paige Stockhoff Girls' Volleyball Sr
Paige ended the week with 61 assists, 30 digs and 12 aces to help the team pull out wins against Wyoming, New Richmond and Princeton.
Brooke Lint Girls' Tennis Soph
Brooke came away with 1st place in the Coaches Classic Tournament against Sycamore, Milford and Mount Notre Dame. She ended the week with a 4-1 record at 2nd singles.
Morgan Lint Girls' Tennis Sr
Morgan won 1st place in the Coaches Classic tournament sweeping the competition of Sycamore, Milford, and Mount Notre Dame. She ended her week with a 5-0 record at 1st singles.
Heath Anderson Football Sr
Heath has brought solid senior leadership to Highlanders defense. He recorded 5 solo tackles vs Princeton bringing his season total to 28 tackles. In the classroom Heath is a solid student earning a 3.60 cumulative GPA.
Bobby Stidham Football Sr
Bobby is a multisport athlete who this year anchors the Highlander offensive line. Bobby's work ethic and senior leadership has made him a pillar of the offense. Bobby maintains a 3.17 GPA.
Leni Sullivan Girls' Soccer Sr
Leni had 2 assists this past week, giving her 7 on the season. Leni has anchored the midfield and is a huge factor in the attack and defense. Leni has done a great job connecting our lines and being a spark plug in the middle for us. She also has a 4.0 GPA while taking 2 AP courses and 3 honors courses.
Maeghan Zimmerly Girls' Cross Country Fr
Maeghan has been a consistent varsity runner all season. She was the team's #3 runner this past weekend at the Princeton Invitational. She placed 19th out of 102 athletes and helped the team to a third place finish. Maeghan is also on the JV soccer team.
Rachael Wunderlich Girls' Cross Country Soph
Rachael won the JV race at the Princeton Invitational last weekend. She ran a season's best time of 21:34 which was the third fastest time on the entire team that day. Rachael continues to improve each week and has earned a varsity spot for the next race. Rachael's an outstanding student with a 4.o GPA.
