Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to the following Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Auri Dills Girls' Basketball Sr.
Auri, a senior forward, came off the bench to help lead Oak Hills to their first win of the season. She scored a career-high nine points to go along with two assists and a steal in a win over Northwest. Auri is an outstanding student and a member of the National Honor Society.
Ava Kammerer Girls' Basketball Fr.
Ava, a freshman guard, averaged 15.5 points last week in her varsity debut for the Highlanders. She scored a game-high 16 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and had 3 assists in a tough loss at Turpin and followed that performance up by scoring 15 points with a steal and an assist in a win over Northwest.
Keith McCalla Boys' Bowling Sr.
Keith helped the boys bowling team finish 1st at the Centerville Elks Invitational this past weekend by rolling a 717 three game series. This also helped him finish 2nd overall and make the All tournament team. Keith is currently averaging 203.5 this season through 6 games.
Tanner Iles Boys' Bowling Soph.
Tanner helped the boys bowling team finish 1st at the Centerville Elks Invitational this past weekend by rolling a 694 three game series. This also helped him finish 3rd overall and make the All tournament team. Tanner is currently averaging 215.5 this season through 6 games making him second in the GMC.
Bobby Stidham Boys' Basketball Jr.
Bobby has worked extremely hard this pre-season. He has played and worked hard to succeed, and more importantly- he has been extremely vocal as a leader. Bobby is a 3 sport athlete who attends Diamond Oaks. He has worked harder and smarter academically and athletically this year demonstrating a positive focus and attitude!
