Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Brody Tew Football Sr
Brody had 6 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles and 3 tackles for loss in an outstanding victory over Lakota East. He also had a game altering play. Brody is a two year starter, a leader in the secondary and a standout on the baseball diamond.
Noah McKee Boys' Cross Country Sr
Noah has been putting in double duty all year long. He is one of three drum majors, the highest student leadership position, in marching band. Noah has done an exceptional job keeping his commitment to both marching band and cross country; 2 endeavors that demand huge amounts of time and energy. His 10th place finish at the GMC Championships Saturday earned him 1st Team GMC Honors. Noah became one of only 9 Oak Hills boys to have ever finished in the top 10 at the GMC Championships.
Annabelle Hageman Girls' Cross Country Soph
Annabelle has been a solid #5 runner all season. She placed 25th in the GMC Championship race this past Saturday helping her team to a 3rd place team finish. Annabelle ran a seasons best time and earned 2nd Team All League Honors. Annabelle is also a varsity swimmer and Varsity Track and Field athlete.
Mady Linenkugel Girls' Soccer Fr
Mady, is a Freshman defender who has started and has played every minute on the backline for the Highlanders. Mady helped her team this past week by providing the assist on the game winning goal to help the Highlanders to a Co-Championship for the GMC title.
