Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Anthony Weinmann Boys' Golf Sr
Anthony shot 76 T-12th at the Beechwood Invitational. Also, he excels in the classroom with a 4.0 & 31st in his class.
Adrianna Combs Girls' Golf Fr
Adrianna has earned her way into the top of the Varsity roster as a freshman! She is showing her skills as a great golfer as she is currently averaging 41 per 9 holes (an improvement of 2 strokes already from the start of the season!). She's helped our team tremendously to several top finishes in prestigious invitational tourneys. Above that, she's a fantastic student with a 4.0 GPA while taking numerous Honors classes.
Max Rhodes Football Fr
Max led the defense with 10 solo tackles and 1 assisted tackle. Max is a multiple sport athlete who works community service and is also an excellent student.
Demar Parker Football Jr
Demar, a multi-sport athlete, led Oak Hills in rushing yards with 121 yards in 21 attempts.
Erykah Cornett Girls' Soccer Sr
The senior Captain for the Highlanders, had 1 goal and 1 assist in the opening win against West Clermont. Erykah, a multi-sport athlete, has been a leader on and off the field, as well as a playmaker on the field for the Highlanders.
Eve Troutwine Girls' Cross Country Soph
Eve placed as the team's #3 runner at the OHSAA Pre-Season meet this past weekend. She improved her time by almost 2 minutes from this point of the season last year. She is a three sport varsity athlete (Cross Country, Track, Swimming). Eve is also an incredible student who has a 4.0 GPA.
Ava Linnenberg Girls' Tennis Jr
Ava helped the team clinch a 5-0 victory over Fairfield this past week, with her partner Gabby Osborn. Outside of tennis Ava is involved in Music Honor society, Founder and head of Future Healthcare Professionals, Vice president of the class of 2024, and is on the patient advisory council at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. After high school, Ava plans on becoming a pediatric doctor.
Joel Harris Boys' Soccer Jr
Joel opened scoring this season slotting a ball past the keeper 6 minutes into the game and scored a 2nd goal in Oak Hills 4-0 opening season win at Dayton Carroll.
Bryce Meyer Boys' Soccer Jr
Bryce recorded 14 saves in a 4-0 shutout win at Carroll and followed that up with an equally stellar performance in a 1-1 draw against Ross. Bryce has a 3.82 GPA.
Luke Banscbach Boys' Soccer Sr
Luke scored on a headball goal from a corner kick putting us up 2-0, in an eventual 4-0 win against Dayton Carroll. He brought high energy to both games last week helping us to a 1-0-1 start against Carroll and Ross. Luke has a 3.65 GPA.
