Gia Hensley    Girls' Swimming    Soph.
Best teams need athletes like Gia that are supportive and dedicated. Gia is always cheering on her teammates and shows respect to her competition. With significant work on technique, Gia has found a lot of PR times, but most recently she posted a 6 second drop on 100 fly bringing it to a 1:13.15.

Samantha McDonald Girls' Swimming Fr.
Samantha comes to us with year-round swim experience. With that she has built improvements in her strokes, especially breaststroke and free. She is very coachable and with minor adjustments in her stroke, Samantha dropped her 100 free time by 3 seconds.

Cora Mundstock        Girls' Bowling    Soph
In her second year on the Girls Bowling team, Sophomore Cora is making giant strides! Not only is she averaging 10 pins more per game than she was at the end of last year, but she has also broken her personal 2-game series record, her high game, and has moved into the top 40 individually in the GMC! This past week, Cora led the ladies in both the match against Middletown and the 4th place finish at the Back to School Bash tournament in Fairfield.

Kate McMullen Girls' Basketball Jr.
Kate, a junior post player, scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a loss to Fairfield. It was her fourth double figure scoring game of the season and the highest individual point total scored in a girls basketball game by a player since 2019. Kate is an outstanding student and also a member of the girls volleyball program.

Riley Philpot     Girls' Basketball        Fr.
Riley, a freshman guard, grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in a loss to Fairfield and followed up that performance by scoring 7 points, grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing out a season-high 4 assists in a loss to Lakota West.
