Bre Luca Girls' Swimming Sr
Bre Luca has returned to the swim and dive team with a vengeance. She has been on a relentless pursuit for success- not for herself, but for the team. She demonstrates leadership through her actions and character. Sge not only puts in 100% effort in the water, she also helps others with their technique and motivation. Bre ranks 26th in a senior class of 619.
Lilly Smith Girls' Swimming Sr
Lilly is only in her second year of swimming competitively. Her primary sport is soccer, but her importance to the swim and dive team has not gone unnoticed. She is fearless in her approach to trying new things. For example, many swimming techniques are new to her, but she continues to pursue improvement. Finishing a lap of the pool her first year was difficult. As she begins her second year, she has mastered many skills and has helped lead the B group in learning new skills of their own, both in the weight room and pool. Lilly also owns a 4.0 GPA.
Seth Helmes Boys' Swimming Jr.
Seth has successfully balanced his academics, work and a rigorous swim practice schedule. He works around his job and academics to find time to maximize his swim training. He is quiet, but his actions in the pool and for the team speak volumes about his character. Seth owns a 3.6 GPA as well.
Kellen Lang Boys' Swimming Jr.
As a freshman, Kellen Lang has already demonstrated he has what it takes to be successful. He puts in his all to dryland and weight room drills. He recognizes areas of improvement and strives to perfect those skills. With only 3 weeks into the season, it is clear Kellen will have a number of personal bests and be prepared to meet even higher personal and team goals this season.
Austin Dennis Boys' Basketball Sr.
As a multi-sport (Soccer, Basketball and Baseball) athlete and a 4.0 student, Austin Dennis has been a positive role model during the pre-season. Austin has role-modeled a strong and competitive work ethic. More importantly, he has coached the younger players to help them through being coached every day, adjusting to the rigorous expectations of the program, being a good student, and demonstrating good character.
Jameson Richmond Boys' Basketball Jr.
As a multi-sport (Basketball and Baseball) athlete and a 3.6 student, Jameson has been a positive role model during the pre-season. Jameson has role-modeled a strong and competitive work ethic. More importantly, he has coached the younger players to help them through being coached every day, adjusting to the rigorous expectations of the program, being a good student, and demonstrating good character.
