Logan Hehman Football Sr
Logan had 5 receptions for 62 yards, including 2 TD catches. Logan also returned three KOs for 98 yards, with a long of 40 yards. He also had two solo tackles and two pass breakups. Logan has also earned a 3.5 GPA at Oak Hills.
Alexis Bosse Girls Soccer Sr
Alexis, a senior midfielder for the Highlanders, helped her team earn a big shutout win at Lakota East this past week. Alexis has really excelled at the defensive mid position this season. She does an excellent job connecting our backline to our forwards, she has really helped us defensively and has helped us keep possession in tight areas. Alexis also takes AP courses and College level courses.
Audrey Folzenlogen Girls' Soccer Sr
Audrey, a Senior Center Back, has been a vital part to the team's backline this season. Her 1 v1 defending, leadership and positioning has been a real asset in the back. She currently studies Health Tech at Diamond Oaks, and plans on becoming a Nurse.
Lydia Essert Girls' Golf Jr
Lydia has been a strong and steady support for our winning team throughout this season! Her consistency helped us with 24 of our 28 wins this season. While her skills were enviable, her spirit was a strong force for our team - she kept us positive and wanting to strive for more. She's a 3-year varsity golfer, as a junior, taking 4 Honors/AP classes.
RJ Linenkugel Boys' Soccer Sr.
R.J. had a goal and an assist in Oak Hills' last two games, leading Oak Hills to a third-place GMC finish, which is their highest finish since joining the GMC. He leads Oak Hills in both goals and assists this season. RJ is an outstanding student as well, taking AP and Honors classes.
Riley Broughton Girls' Volleyball Jr.
Leads the GMC in assists as well as top ten in the city. She is also in the top 5 for serving aces in GMC. Riley is the quarterback of the team and hustles all over the court for balls. She carries a 4.0 GPA and is taking 2 AP courses this semester.
Alyssa Hammond Girls Cross Country Soph
Alyssa Hammond placed 2nd at the GMC league championship this weekend to help her team to a second-place team finish. Alyssa ran a personal best time of 18:39 which places her third on the Oak Hills All-Time record list. Alyssa is also an excellent student with a 4.0 GPA.
Eva Hensley Girls' Cross Country Fr
Eva placed third in the GMC League Championship this weekend helping her team to a second-place finish. She ran a personal best time of 18:42 which places her #4 on the Oak Hills All-time record board. She is currently the fastest freshman in the state.
Mia Ziebro Girls' Tennis Sr
Senior Mia Ziebro finished her career as the winningest player since Oak Hills joined the GMC, as she collected 54 dual match wins over her career. Mia was all-conference at 3rd singles her freshman year, all-conference at 2nd singles her sophomore year, a district qualifier her junior year, and 3rd team all GMC her senior year. Mia is the ultimate competitor on the court, and in the classroom, as she maintains a 4.0 GPA. Mia has committed to play tennis at Thomas More next year.
