OHHS seniors awarded Governor's Merit Scholarships
Twenty-nine OHHS seniors qualified for the Governor's Merit Scholarship recently created by Gov. Mike Dewine and the Ohio State Legislature.
The top five percent of the senior class at Oak Hills High School received an early Christmas present today from the State Legislature and Governor Mike DeWine when they learned that they qualified for the Governor's Merit Scholarship. This award provides up to $5,000 per year for four years to members of the Class of 2024 who are graduating in the top five percent of their class and attending either a public or private institution of higher education located in the State of Ohio. Each student was called down to Principal Travis Hunt's office to receive the wonderful news.
