Transportation

The Transportation Department determines routes, bus stops, assigns drivers for classroom and/or athletic field trips and plans for inclement weather. 33 Regular drivers transport 257 Specialized students, 1708 public school students and 590 parochial school students, for a total of 2555 students, in 32 school buses every day of the school year. There are 3 mechanics that service and repair all vehicles owned by the District.
To contact the Transportation Department, call the office at 598-2950 or email Jason Nash, Transportation Manager.
We will respond as soon as possible.

Special Needs Children: Oak Hills Transportation provides services for 257 special needs children. Parents must notify the Transportation Office if their child will not be riding the bus that day. One of the mechanics is “on duty” at 5:30 a.m. to take calls. Parents can also call the office number  to report a child not riding at any time.

Field Trips: contact Tracy Klinefelter, Transportation Secretary for information concerning field trip times, available dates and cost. All approved paperwork should be completed and received by Transportation 15 days in advance of the trip.
