Dear C.O. Harrison families,
Hello and WELCOME to the beginning of a new school year. I would like to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Pam Eisenmann. I have five children—a 7th and a 6th grader who attend Delhi Middle School, a 4th grader, a kindergartner, and a preschooler who just can’t wait until it is her turn to attend C.O. Harrison. After-all, it is the best school as she informs me.
Let me begin by saying as a former teacher and now a happily involved stay-at-home parent, our school is definitely one of which to be proud. Our administrators, teachers, and staff support our children 100%. They are there for our children from the time the doors unlock in the morning until the last light goes out at the end of the day. Thankfully, we have a PTA that is equally supportive of our children. And we are always seeking new members to help in our efforts to keep C.O. Harrison the incredible school that it is today.
“Growing Happy Learners with Healthy Habits” is our PTA theme for the 2012-2013 school year. We are very excited and hope you will join us as we work together to provide experiences for our children to grow in many ways and to develop healthy habits that will continue to guide them through their lives.
Getting involved in your child’s school career is a critical factor in the success of his or her education. It is also beneficial in your overall relationship with your child. Your interest and involvement speaks volumes to your child. We have many ways in which moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas and even aunts and uncles can contribute to the C.O. Harrison community. From room coordinators and party helpers to chaperones, library and lunchroom volunteers to workroom helpers, family fun nights and jobs you can assist with at-home—there is a place for you!
The PTA welcomes you to join us in any way that you can. Meetings are not mandatory for membership, however, feel free to come and raise your concerns and/or contribute your ideas and talents to better our school. Our first Unit Meeting is before the Cook-out/ Fall Festival on September 21. All meetings are posted on the PTA bulletin board by the multi-purpose room as well as on the school web-site and in the Colonel’s Corner.
I would like to thank for your time and look forward to working with you this school year. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of our board members.
Respectfully,
Pam Eisenmann, PTA President
