On December 16, C.O. Harrison second grade students in Emily Bourgeois’ class built gingerbread houses. As part of their literacy lesson, the class read 20 different versions of The Gingerbread Manand then compared and contrasted the stories. Utilizing the elements they learned about in the stories, they built their gingerbread houses.
