Three Delshire Students Make the Cincinnati Boy Training Choir

Three students at Delshire Elementary are now members of the Cincinnati Boy Training Choir. They are third graders Maximilan Wendling and Jacob Myers, and fourth grader Jack Hart.

The boys attended their first practice last week and look forward to their upcoming retreat this Saturday. They thought it was ‘really cool’ to learn the National Anthem at their first practice.

When asked why they wanted to participate in the choir Hart, an alto, replied, “just for fun!” Wendling, an alto, shared that his talent is what made him tryout and Myers, the soprano of the group, said he wanted to try out just to see how good his singing talent is.

“The Cincinnati Boychoir has a long standing tradition of choral excellence in Cincinnati and I am very excited to have Delshire Students participating in the Choir,” said Chelsey Sweatman who teaches music to the boys at Delshire Elementary School.
