On Saturday, August 18, 2012 the varsity girls’ soccer team battled Oak Hills alumni women in the annual alumni soccer game.
Alumni ranging from 1993-2011 joined together on the field to have some fun while raising money for a scholarship fund for a fellow Highlander who was tragically lost in 2007, Vanessa Antrobus Quinn ’96.
The game raised $955, the highest amount since the game’s been played, and a great crowd was on hand to cheer on the ladies! The varsity girls won the game with a score of 3-1.
Laura Fightmaster ’93 shared, “It was great to be back on the field with my former teammates. We spent a lot of time sharing memories about games, grueling practices, our big sisters, and playing pranks. Not only was it fun and a wonderful time being together, but it was all for a great cause.”
