This year has been another successful year for the J.F. Dulles Elementary students who raised money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the Math-A-Thon. This was the25th year that students have competed in the Math-A-Thon.
The program allows students to practice math skills while raising money for a good cause. Not only does the event support St. Jude Children’s Hospital, but also teaches the students the value of giving of themselves for others. This year, 132 “Math-letes” participated, raising $6,662.50.
In the 25 years that Dulles Elementary supported this project, the students have earned $269,117.50 for St. Jude’s.
